In 2019, APLJ ventured into the agricultural sector by investing in Agri Japan K.K., based in Saga Prefecture. Through a licensing agreement with Zespri, a renowned New Zealand-based company, the cultivation of SunGold kiwifruit began at a newly developed farm in Imari City, Saga Prefecture. Spanning approximately 50 hectares, the orchard stands as one of the largest kiwifruit farms in Japan. APLJ is working closely with Agri Japan to drive innovation, improve yields through experimental trials, and implement optimized cost management practices.

In 2024, FukuiSaurus K.K., formed by APLJ, acquired a majority stake in Katsuyama Kogen Kaihatsu K.K., based in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture. This acquisition included SKI JAM Katsuyama and Hotel Harvest Ski Jam Katsuyama, marking APLJ’s first entry into the ski resort business. Nestled in the Hakusan mountain range, SKI JAM Katsuyama is one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan, featuring slopes that reach an elevation of 1,320 meters and offer a maximum run length of 5,800 meters. APLJ is working closely with operators and the local community to reimagine the resort as a year-round destination, aiming to attract both domestic and international tourists while driving regional economic growth.
